apache2-data software package provides Apache HTTP Server (common files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install apache2-data
apache2-data is installed in your system.
Make ensure the apache2-data package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep apache2-data *
You will get with apache2-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table
